To guarantee safe online payments, this e-shop cooperates with the Belgian company Mollie. Mollie has a 100% safe payment process.

Each payment (Bancontact, Visa, Mastercard, etc) is transferred via a with several secured firewalls website, straight between Mollie and the buyer. So nor the e-shop nor any other third party sees your credit card information or personal details.

Mollie verifies the validity of your card, the card number and the access rights of your credit card and informs this e-shop when all is in order so payment can be made. So your purchase can be confirmed right away and shipment of the purchase can be organized.

Choose your payment method

We accept the following payment methods:

Bancontact / Mister Cash / Maestro for customers of Argenta, AXA, Fintro, etc... You will need your personal card reader or Digipass (depends on your bank) in order to complete your online payment. This will generate a unique code for the transaction to verify and authorize payment and it helps to protect you from fraud. There are no service costs on behalf of the online shop.

KBC-CBC Online / ING Home Pay / Belfius DirectNet Payment via online money transfer. Customers of ING, KBC and Dexia can pay the amount directly by money transfer. To do so follow the step-by-step instructions. Payment by money transfer is secure and takes place directly via your bank's online payment module. There are no service costs on behalf of the online shop.

Visa / MasterCard / American Express The payment takes place in the secure environment of payment provider Mollie which treats your details with the utmost care. The payment can be found on your credit card bill under the name "Marie’s Fairtrade Shop". There are no service costs for payments by credit card.

PayPal PayPal is a payment system for online and mobile payments between individuals. In order to be able to make a payment, it's only required to previously link an e-mailadress to a PayPal-account (linked to a bank account or credit card). Payment with PayPal is free for you (the buyer), however, the seller (online shop) pays a service cost.

iDEAL (only available for clients in the Netherlands) This payment method makes it possible for you to pay directly during the order process via your own bank. You pay in your familiar Internet payment environment on the basis of your bank's specific security methods. If you use telebanking, you can use iDEAL straight away, without having to register first.

Manual bank transfer This means that you complete your purchase without an online payment. After you have chosen this payment method, you will receive an e-mail confirmation and instructions to make the money transfer. Your order will be shipped immediately after we receive the payment. This might take a few days.

In need of an invoice?

If you want to receive an invoice for your purchase, you should indicate so when you place your order.

When you fill in your details, you can select the option "Invoice data" where you can fill in your company name and a valid VAT number. The invoice is then sent to you by e-mail (after the delivery of your order). Invoices will only be made if you give a valid VAT number.

Delivery times

All orders are sent from Belgium. Orders places before 12:00 AM (noon) are dispatched the same day. Delivery time within Belgium is usually the next working day. For deliveries in the Netherlands and Luxemburg the delivery time is usually 2 working days, for other EU countries 4 working days.

We use the courier company bpost to deliver your order. Articles which are indicated as "in stock" on the website are available off the shelf. Should this not be so, you will be contacted right away.

Once we receive your order and payment, your articles are prepared for shipment as soon as possible. Normally your purchase is delivered between 2 and 5 days. General conditions for returns / exchanges

Returning or exchanging an article bought in the online shop is possible, it it meets the following conditions:

  • maximum 1 return per purchase

How to return an order?

3. mention the reason for the return on the exchange document
4. include the order confirmation you received by e-mail and the exchange document in the package

6. after the receipt and approval by the seller, the seller will send you a receipt by e-mail

3. PRICE 3.1. Marie’s Fiartrade Shop can not guarantee the complete absence of errors on the e-shop. The shop may contain typographical errors, mistakes and inaccuracies relating to the price, availability or details of products. No liability is accepted for the consequences of misprints and typesetting errors. 3.2. Marie’s Fairtrade Shop does its utmost to ensure that all pricing information on the e-shop is accurate, but cannot guarantee the absolute absence of errors. In the event that an error in the price of a product should occur, Marie’s Fairtrade Shop will give customers the option to confirm the purchase of the product at the correct price or to cancel the order. If Marie’s Fairtrade Shop is not able to contact the customer within 30 days, the order will be treated as cancelled. 3.3. The prices are valid at the time of publication. After this they are subject to change. The shipping costs within Belgium are included in the prices given and include Belgian VAT (21%). 4. RIGHT OF REVOCATION 4.1. In the case of a consumer purchase in accordance with the Act on Distant Selling (Article 7(5) of the Civil Code), the consumer has the right to inform the seller that he has decided not to go ahead with the purchase, without payment of a fine and without indication of a reason, within 14 working days from the day following the day of delivery of the product. Before returning the product, the buyer must within 14 days of delivery inform the seller by e-mail ( via the contact form that he will be returning the product. The items must be returned in the original packaging, original tags, accessories and associated documents included, and their condition must be as new, ie in the same condition the item left the warehouse. 4.2. 6. RETURNS 6.1. Products can be returned within 14 days after receiving the order. 6.2. Marie’s Fairtrade Shop recommends using a courier when returning goods in order to allow the tracking of the shipment. 6.3. Marie’s Fairtrade Shop will not be held responsible for the refund or the compensation of products that have been lost, stolen or damaged.

7. RIGHT OF OWNERSHIP 7.1. The seller remains owner of all goods until full payment has been made.

8. APPLICABLE LEGISLATION 8.1. Belgian law applies to these conditions of sale and any disputes will be referred to the competent district courts of Ghent.
