The Bohai bags are made in the provinces of Oaxaca and Puebla by 5 different artesanas : The first one takes care of the weaving process which takes one and a half days. Next two artesanas make the different accessories : the beautifully woven beads that adorn the tassel (takes one full day to make the woven beads !), the handles and the tassel itself. Next a tailor for the lining and a last artesana fixes all the loose ends so that the weaving will never come undone.
